The green turtle is firstly carnivorous (invertebrates, jellyfish and fish eggs) and becomes herbivorous as it grows.
She reaches sexual maturity between the ages of 18 and 30.
For the laying, she is able to travel 1250 miles to reach the place where she was born. For this purpose, she uses magnetic fields to create a magnetic map to locate in the oceans. She also uses the currents to complete this orientation.
Mammals have a horizontal tail.
Fishes have a vertical fin.
Turtles are in economy mode when they are sleeping. If they are woken during night, they may not have enough air to return to surface.
So, please be careful during night dives!
Some sharks can stay motionless on the sand (white tips reef sharks, nurse sharks, etc.).
These sharks don't have to swim to bring oxygen to their gills like other sharks (grey, hammerheads tc.)
